What A Beauty
Long way off, so no close up, but hey I don't care when I see a bird like this, its been sometime since Yellowhammers were round theze yer partz. I think the picture tells the story I need say no more.
They are great birds, and making a come back on Mendip, small group between 5-10 in Velvet Bottom, used to be good numbers breeding there, so good to see them back. Hopefully they will breed in the spring at VB. And of course hear their song again "little bit of bread and no cheese".
